What you were setting up for and what effect you were after might help. The lighting you have is very even, if not a little flat.

As you have a dark background, I would expect more light on one side than the other, to give a little contrast between the two sides of the shot. But of course as I said it depends on what effect you were after.

As it's a dark shot, a rear hairlight might be cool if your subject has a lot of hair, or just light from the left or from the right to give a cool shadow

Re: Light set up for shoot - what do you think?

Thanks Alan/ The shot was for 2 newborns. I have to admit that black backgrounds are the one thing that i do hate lighting. I didn't opt for a hairlight, on the basis thay are babies.

Even lighting is waht i was hoping for TBH. With having two of them togther very close to each other, i wanted to avoid too many shadows. Once the babies were aone, I would have made my key light a bit brighter. In the end though, i opted for a different set up as the black just isnt my style.
