Re: Full Frame... or Cropped Bodies ...?

I think it all depends on the type of photgramphy that you prefer, I like sport and wildlife so the DX suits me as I get more range for my cash compared to FF, as to get the 300mm at 2.8 I have now would have cost me more than double.

I plan to get more into the landscape and street stuff so will be looking for a FF body next to give me that extra field of view.

Re: Full Frame... or Cropped Bodies ...?

I just love the quality of Full Frame. So I would personally get full frame _If_ I could afford it (I guess the same is true for most people!)

Cropped sensors offer a lot of bang for the buck tho, and still offer great quality. Which is why they are the most popular right now.

Re: Full Frame... or Cropped Bodies ...?

Even though the Canon 5D is old in digital terms, it's full frame sensor still produces better images than my 40D.

The size, weight and feel of the camera is great.

For me it's full frame every time BUT cost is a factor and my 5D is going to have to plod on for a bit longer before I can afford it's upgrade.

Either that or I take that photo that earns me £££££'s Some hope
