Canon Powershot SX10 IS, so far........
I like it, in fact I might nick it off Steve altogether!! Not that I have given it to him yet I havent!! 
Anyway, these are a couple quickies, I havent set up the camera properly yet, just basic operation.
On AV setting.
Minimum zoom
Zoomed into that red bush you can see, handheld using the image stabilizer.
The girlie, harsh light, but used the EVF and was pleased with the background blur for a compact.

Not bad for a P&S - it's still evident it's not a dslr so they got some way to go yet, but not bad nonetheless

When Ive got used to it a bit and geared it up for me, Ill use it when we are out and post pics taken with both, see if you can see the difference. Ive got a feeling some good results will come from this camera.

Look forward to it - lets hope the lighting is good, as most p&S sensors need that..
