Unfortunately Jessops are known to be unhelpful, sad really as they used to be a good company but now they could not be less helpful if they took a course in it, perhaps they do - I know they are very good at misinformation.

Well I've been everywhere today and still can't find anyone other than Jessops with a Canon!
I went back to Currys Digital and looked at the Panasonic again. The chap who helped me the other day was there so I asked for him (if they go on commission I wanted him to get it!).
I'm now the proud owner of a Panasonic Lumix FZ28
Am really busy today but going to have a play with it later tonight and will see how I get on!

Am definitely happy with my choice but still getting my head around the very basics... will probably be up all night reading the instructions as we are still spring cleaning!
Dying to use the camera and I have to do housework instead! LOL!
