Canon Telephoto EF 85mm f/1.8 USM
Good Afternoon everyone, Enjoying my day off looking at len's, before i press the buy it now button does anyone have this lens?, I want a good all rounder but only have about £300 squids, I have a tele-converter which works well on my nifty fifty so it would boost this one upto 170mm, if not do you have any other ideas?

The EF85, f1.8, is a superb lens by the way.

It is a really great lens and to be honest is as sharp as the 'L' version, plus focuses faster than the L as well.
Don't forget to check out Digitalrev, I used them for the first time last week and they were spot on, good price, good delivery (3 working days), but they are HK based.

Lovely lens and being f1.8 should retain Af on a 500D with both a 1.4 and 2.0 X TC making it a versitile investment.
