Why We Shoot

Every now & then I'm reminded why I love photography so much. I ventured out to the zoo today armed with just my Leica rangefinder. I tried my best to use all my skills to bring home the best images I could so that we I read "A wonderful shot with perfect composition, colors and sharpness", it's the best form of "atta boy"!

When a young, new photographer thanks me for the editing I did on his son's graduation photo I quickly remind him that he took the shot, he captured the essence of his son's personality. He simply needs more practice and/or training with post processing.

We need to encourage each other to keep shooting, keep learning.
