Great tit, Goldfinch, Fieldfare, Chaffinch & Blue tits

Another run down to Lochwinnoch today to image some birds.
I used my Canon 5d MKII again for high ISO imaging as the available light was not good.

1)Great tit. ISO 3200. The background to the left of the image shows a large light patch which spoils the overall image as it is distracting. Unfortunate, but that is how the light/background was recorded I might clone/blend this patch into the background as I really like this image.

2)Fieldfare. ISO 500

3)Blue tit ISO 3200

4)Chaffinch ISO 2500

5)Goldfinch ISO 3200

6)Fieldfare ISO 1600

7)Bluetit ISO 3200

Lovely shots there - especially the fieldfares again - they really are such striking birds. I especially like the first one, as the white in the background gives the feel of snow (maybe it was? ) and this for me is ideal background for Fieldfare, they being winter visitors. Super catch on the pose too - typical Thrush posture - lovely!

That snow is actually water The low Sun was reflecting off a small part of the Loch (behind the Fieldfare) and rendered the water very bright from my position, although probablly not compleltly white as in the picture.

It was funny watching the Fieldfares chasing away the Blackbirds from the food scraps

I can't wait for the snow to arrive so that I can capture some landscape/mountain scenery and wildlife too, of course So many photo opportunities with a snow covered landscape
