I've used the live view...... zero times on my D300

How much is the bag and 4gb card worth? If it is all brand new stuff then yeah it sounds good Check out some of Claires pics - they are great!

I'd personally go for the D80, after all the image comes form the glass and not the body, unless of course you shoot sports and wildlife and want the fps to be high.

£600 is a good price for all that kit with the D80, and the lens' are both good quality and give good sharp images, like most Nikon owners I've had both.

I've used the live view on my D300 once, using live view unless is on a tripod makes it more likely you'll have camera shake and the reason a lot of P&S shots are a little soft from the shakes!
