shenandoah flowers

we spent friday and saturday in shenandoah national park and surrounding towns. went on a few hikes, saw a couple of bears that promptly ran off before we could get the car stopped and spent a little too much time at the wine tasting bar at a local winery. all in all, we had a great time. it was a bit hazy for landscapes so i ended up taking a lot of macros. just got the 60mm macro in the male last week so i was happy with that.

Re: shenandoah flowers

thanks zoundz. the second one is the one i'm on the fence about. it looked good in the viewfinder, but when i saw it on the computer screen it felt like i should have left more room on the bottom.

Re: shenandoah flowers

These are nice shots, invoking thoughts of springtime. I love the pastel green of the fern and number four (mono shot) contrasts beautifully with the three colour photos.
