Good price but hell of a risk I'd guess and I'd bet that warranty is of little use.
We do pay over the odds here for many things. Almost 900 quid (or more) for a D300 body remains extortinate (and it was around 400 quid more!). So many other things have dropped in price. The Jessops price on the D300 has gone up, was £899 but was up to £920 plus. Want one but sadly too much of a pauper with other commitments that take precedent.
