Re: Geese & Gosling, Swans & Signets

Thank you

He's not my Ferret, he was just being taken for a walk round the lake, not what you see every day

Great shots, esp the chicks and the swan.... and must say I've never seen a ferret out on a walk before

CLMG....I think you're picture of the Swan with her chicks, is absolutely beautiful.
I love the way you've taken the shot through the trees....and with all that long grass in the background...it suggests that this nesting area is very secluded, and it really makes you feel that we are seeing a very private, and intimate moment between the mother and her young.

Excellent capture CLMG

Thank you MD , that was totally down to the Swans , the pond they were on is seperate from the main one, and although there is a footpath round it, it's not very popular, and apart from me, they had the place to themselves, the only problem I had was finding a gap in the trees big enough to get a half decent shot in, and there was no way I was going to get any closer and destrub them

Re: Geese & Gosling, Swans & Signets

I agree with MD.

I think you should enter it in the 'COUNTRY FILE' competition I posted.

I have checked out previous winners and I think that shot should be in with a good chance.

So what do you think?
