OK, this isn't a funny story, but it is a story.

I took one photograph this afternoon, and as I lowered the camera, the subject and I had eye contact. She looked at me and gave me the most lovely beaming smile, as if knowing what I had done and actually approving of it. That one smile melted me, it was so lovely.

People are people. Just that some people are so much nicer than others. And that photograph stands as a tribute to her, from me.

One of the few occasions when the disconnection, re connects

On a serious note, does a small compact camera make a better street camera than your typical DSLR?
