Re: The countryside

You know I am weird.... I like it as it is, I really do, it gives a good impression of the time of day, and the changing light. Feel free to ignore mex

Re: The countryside

I like it.

I've composed a few of mine like this - (bands of colour)

It does seem a bit subdued though. I imagine that evening sun would be really lighting up the green fields against the shadowy bits.

Re: The countryside

I like the image, particularly the road lead-in, but dont think its a WB issue. It just needs lifting by using levels in PS or burning in the shadows - or better still, use the Adjust shadows command.

Re: The countryside

phil - you are right ,maybe the shadows would helps to "bump" the mountians/hills like a "band of colours"
this place is not far from me so i could go back on a good day ! (raining today)

jack - i tried photoshop but they still seems to be lacking something
mind im not good at this sort of stuff as i tend to go too far but you're welcome to try
im trying not to use too much photoshop and get most of the work incamera and "chasing the light".

thanks for your help all!
