How many of you do wedding pics??

Just being nosey how many of you do weddings??

Isn't it scary??? because it is such a big occassion, and muck it up and......

Not me!!

Its something im hoping to come into over the next 18 months. Iv done a couple of minor events like christenings ect and have had a few enquiries for weddings (mostly through friends at the mo)

I do i have done 2 so far and have my 3rd in August I am open and honest with my clients saying that i don't have much experience but my portfolio seems to speak for itself and everyone has been happy so far.

I remain in control of the situation and i take many of the same type of shot to make sure i have everything the client asked for. Getting the best man onside helps too as i get him to help shout at people to get them where i want them

I took some pics at a friends sons birthday party for them a couple of weeks ago, and that was scary.Just informal pics, they loved them,but that was enough for me
Obviously I would never do a wedding far too little knowledge etc, but just wondered how scary it was, and do you feel under pressure???

Sam I have seen your wedding shots in your album, not capable of commenting last nnight will today though, they are great.

Are people asking for less formal shots these days? I love natural, relaxed wedding pics

I did the photos for a friends wedding back in December last year and it was very scary, but the most rewarding thing I have ever done. They were thrilled with the pics and I couldn't ask for more than that I wouldn't do it if I didn't know the people well though - it would be much to scary and I don't like shouting at people to get the group photos

I think its a kind of mixture of relaxed but formal if that makes sense... both weddings i have done have been in very formal settings but with a more relaxed feel which gives me a lot of room to play with

I dont and wouldnt as I wouldnt like to mess up.

I don't although I would like to shadow a photographer at a wedding to get more of an idea on this area of photography.
