Second hand pro lens - like gold dust!
Had a look on fleabay earlier... and could hardly find any pro lens!! And the ones there were just as much as what you'd expect to pay new (or close enough)

I've 'watched' a few Canon L lenses on ebay. The prices seemed OK then a last min flurry of bidding leaves you thinking jeezy peeps !
For Nikon - Grays of Westminster certainly used to advertise 'used' suff. They have a great site too.

I'm watching a 17-55 on ebay now (Item number: 330265826381) just to see how much it goes for. That's grays site seems ok - athough they seem to have the older gear (no 70-200vr or 24-70s there).

Been a few bids already - with the best part of two days to go !
You sometimes come accross some bargains where people don't really know what they're selling. If you're really lucky they will have put a low 'buy it now' price or perhaps described it wrongly so not as many people find the item through a search.
Half the fun is looking though I think.
