I don't mind the light hearted, fun approach, but I'm not keen on seeing pointless destruction of equipment. I just hate waste, be it food, materials, or equipment.

I don't think it was a real camera tbh - looks more like neat digital editing 
I think the main point they were trying to make is:
- there's not much difference between the two cameras
- video quality on both leave a lot to be desired
