There's a few DSLRs I fancy but I'm at that stage where I can't really justify buying what I want. D700, 5D MkII, 7D,

I really really really want to upgrade. Not necessarily something new to market - just something new!
I have the 300D and borrowed my dad's 5D this week. The difference was startling.
All the focusing issues I have been having with my 50mm 1.8 disappeared - sharp eyes and blurry backgrounds almost everytime time (instead of the usual 5% and even then not terribly sharp). I nearly cried when I handed it back - though I was very relieved not have dropped it in the 24 hours I had it!!!
While I would love a 5D or even a 5D II, I really can't start justify it so I am on the look out for a bargain on a new or second hand 50D.
