I've found Nikon D200 with 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S DX VR II Lens for £775

Not bad considering the lens is £400 on it's own.

Sent the company ( in USA ) an email asking about shipping costs and got this reply

The shipping service will cost you approximately $120 / £60GBP The import taxes are not applicable and the warranty is valid in all EU countries including UK.
Your camera will be shipped from Germany, we have a warehouse there for
all our European customers.

What do you think and is there anything I should be aware of ??

so they must sell quite a bit here or else they would not bother.

BUT i am sooooooooooooo nervous about buying anything abroad, and it is a lot of money.

The D300 is also £775 albeit with a lesser lens.

If I bought it I would pay by credit card. That way should you not get the product the credit card company will stop payment or get you a refund.

I would insist that it is shipped from their German warehouse as it within the EEC so no customs or import duty is added to the delivery costs. You may also find that VAT has not been added which makes it £911 plus shipping

D300 is a nice price

What if you went on holiday in Germany you could pick one up

Should be ok if you pay by credit card tho?

Just looked again and noticed the D300 is with a lens too (at first I thought it was body only).

That's what i said in post 5 Azz.

Both the D200 & D300 with lenses are £775 + £60 shipping but the D200 comes with the better lens. Yes they are new.

If it's legit, I would go for the D300.

If you went with the cheaper kit lens, you could sell it, or, for an extra £200 ish you could get the D300 with the 18-200 anyway...

Really does seem too good to be true tho!
