How are you building your site? Where is it hosted?
As soon as you upload the files, you site should be available instantly when you type in the URL

im with clikpic and tried to go live but cant find it in google and OH says it take a week to go though !

I am not sure what Clickpic is but if it's a service you have signed up to, surely they would have emailed you to tell you what your address is?
