Canon memory
Am I right in thinking the Canon accepts nothing but a Compact Flash memory card ? Or am I missing something ?

As Stu said, it is CF cards only. I personally would look at getting a 2GB card - the ones I buy are Sandisk Ultra 2 or Extreme 3 cards

I read it as Ultra11 4 gig for £17.49 not the Extreme 111 on your link. Ths Ultra11 is slower than the Extreme range.
The extreme 111 is £22.99 for the 4 gig card on that web site

I got a 4GB card for my EOS 350D - no idea how many pictures it can hold because my counter stops at 999! It's FAR too big and I have a 2GB card too!!
