Almost as vivid as my "You may need shades" it is a point of wonder to me that nature can produce such clear and vivid colour.

There's nothing like a good macro lens to have control of flower shots. The Nikkor 2.8 60mm Micro has been around for 20 years yet remains a highly rated favorite by many photographers. Yes, the 105 mm version allows you to back off for skittery things but I love me 60mm. I love to be able to get so close you can see the fuzz on the leaf stems. This lens works for me & is the reason I bought my D90.
