The House Cat
While on my ride yesterday I stopped at Camp 18, a logging camp restaurant with great outdoor artifacts. There are two "House Cats" that live on the property that can be seen on most visits. The lounge around on customer's vehicles, porches & anywhere else they please. They are not shy or skittish. I took my time taking this portrait of one of them sitting on a pole at the entrance to the main lodge. He was cleaning himself so I had to be patient as he occasionally decided to look up.

Cute shot, although looks a bit sharp especially around th whiskers and head. Love it though!

Diane - view it at full size - you will note that 'sharpness' is less harsh.
Bob - really nice control of DOF and great composition - the wait was worth it
