Re: Nikon D3 Promo - Joe McNally

A very interesting video Azz. It struck me so powerfully because my new D90 has a lot of the attributes of the D3 & D300. The extended range of ISO i now enjoy opens of the creative possibilities. I shot waterfalls today in natural light that would have required a tripod with my D40X. I shot at 1000 ISO with no worry about excessive noise or artifacts. Camera technology is growing exponentially. Thanks for posting this video.

I actually LIKE the crop factor of DX format It saves me a few extra metres of crawling through bushes I still have lovely green stains on my trousers from lurking in shrubberies yesterday!

Re: Nikon D3 Promo - Joe McNally

No doubt they'll sell you longer lenses or maybe they'll have a 'cropped mode' ?

Know what you mean about green stains - when I'm out I like to wear cream/light clothes as they're nice and cool and they always come back filthy! Rocky's usually to blame
