Which Nikon would you get next?

I think I would quite like to get the D300 
I've always liked the D80 and D200, and the D300 seems much better... Just wish I could afford one!

I hoping its going to drop down in price with the new Nikon being released but i cant wait to get my hads on it and have a play!

Already have the D200 Nikon camera and very happy with it. Used to have the D70s but upgraded recently, and the D200 is so much easier to use as the controls are set on the body as well as in the menu.

What i would say if I may is that it is not always the camera that takes a good photo its the photographer and the lens. I still have a kodak 2 meg pixel camera that takes superb photos but being a compact has its restrictions.

I was looking at the D80 the other day.
I still feel like I'm having an affair (LOL) with Nikon as I've always been a Canon man but (apart form the dust on my D50) i'm just about converted.
Anyway - i was looking at the D80 (body) but couldn't help thinking the D200 would be worth the extra cost.
Techy wise they are much the same but you do feel like it's a step up in terms of build quality which for me (bashing up hills) is an important factor.

I've seen some truly awesome photos taken with the D200.. it definitely gets my vote
