Dizzying heights

First of all can all the bird people not tell me off, and say this is not a brilliant Bird picture I know

But....

I was going for the flight of the bird, and the Wow factor, you get when a big bird flies overhead.

One of many Turkey Vultures that fly over all the time, they look wonderful above you, but so damn ugly on the ground Urgh! there is something very medieval about them when they hobble by the side of a road, eating supper

I know exactly what you mean by medieval! Very well worded!

You know - I actually like its lack of clarity... and the strange deep blue of the sky... it has a real feel to it of lying on the ground, having not had water for days... just collapsed - knowing you're near the end - and this is what you see circling above...

you certianly have a dark edge

It's a nice shot Moonie not as crisp as you could have got it but you can do that next time around
