Room with a view

Taken in the Sauratown Mountains, from the concession stand/ changing rooms, overlooking the artifical swimming beach, by one of the lakes. It is an awesome place to spend an afternoon, swimming in all this beauty, look at the view

I liked the way the wooden frame and wall , naturally framed the view.

Couldn't decide, which I prefered colour or Mono.

Thanks for looking S x

Re: Room with a view

Both are gorgeous - what a fab place it looks! For me though, the colour is just so... 50's Americana - I love it!

Re: Room with a view

I agree with the rest; I really like the color (or colour for the UK folks ) shot the most. Nice shot!

Re: Room with a view

I like the colour one, mainly because it has that 'Wizard of Oz' effect. You have the bland, dark outer part of the image, where there is not much to see (Kansas), contrast with that the lush colourful inner part of the image, bursting with colour and wonder (Oz)

Re: Room with a view

Thanks very much for the feedback, appreciate it, I do like the Mono version I know, I am awkward

Alan, great analogy about Oz, that is just what it is like, sometimes living here, feels like I am in Oz,I have actually muttered under my breath several times, I don't think I am in Kansas anymore It is the most extraordinary country, both in good and bad ways.

Re: Room with a view

BC_ Sure ask me whatever you like, better do it in off topic though.

TBH you have two less stumbling blocks than me, no kids and no pets, I hope you love paperwork though
