Dark Eyed Junco

I'm starting to get a few of these birds in the garden now, they migrate down here for the winter from Canada, I believe. For a little bird, they are quite noisy
They come in dark grey to a darkish brown, to make it even more difficult for a numpty like me, to ID them

( the yellow blob is a piece of corn )

Added these because they are cute birds, and you don't get them in the Uk

Tufted Titmouse

Red cardinal (female, the males are even more stunning, but haven't got a semi decent pic yet)

Thanks for looking x

Re: Dark Eyed Junco

I love! You know how badly I want to visit to photo these birds, I love some of the common North American birds, and would love to see them in their natural habitat! That Junco is like my Russian Blue rats too <3 <3

Yes, the colours are great, there are a lot that are too quick for me like the Woodpeckers and Bluejays. I was never really into birds, but started snapping these for Laura, and now have started to do it for myself too

I sit either on a bench or the floor, and they quickly ignore me,sometimes I talk to themand that is when you get the heads tilting

Thank you, your very kind, I have a long way to go till my bird pics are really good like some of them on here. But, the comments have encouraged me to carry on.

This is a Carolina Wren

Thank you all for your comments xxx
