I don't have time to catch up on all of your wonderful shots, been busy for a bit. I totally creased up with laughing when I seen the moulin rouge shot, absolutely brilliant. thankfully my busy time is over and I can go back to checking out the forum most days.

Jan 28th- Small, Gold, Self portrait and Mud

A cactus in my hand
An absolute nightmare to get this, I thought it would be so simple, set everything up, and off we go.
Wrong.
Anyway, my hands, mud is in the glass container that contains a baby cactus, and gold, is a very random gold butterfly.

Well it turned out great Moonie desite your troubles.

Think it would work well without the white on the left - blue silky background only ?

I know.....Shhhhh.... Don't tell anyone, but this is the best from a bad bunch by this point I didn't care that the concrete was in shot, I had the cactus in focus. It was meant to be my shirt, and nothing else, and cropping it wouldn't work I'd of lost some cactus. This was definitely a case of in my head, I thought it would be easy and simple, and the reality was a pain.

The shot has a slight goth feel to it, not sure if its the dark nail polish or the butterfly against the cactus! Either way I found the shot very pleasing to the eye.

Thank you, I tend to always wear dark nail colours, not a pale pink type, really My poor little random butterfly, just plonked on top
