The first shot is wonderful, although I find myself wondering what it would look like in colour.

Both lovely images. Think the 1st image would also of worked well with her wearing her cardi as well

It was ok in colour but the shot was taken with B&W in mind, i think it gives a bit more focus to the subjects?

I like the first shot but don't think the collar in red adds to it, think for myself would prefer it all in black and white.

Thanks, i did do it in complete B&W to begin with but it seemed to lack a little something...i too like the selective colour

I like these, they make a ncie pair - but I also am not a fan of the selective colour - though I can see why you've gone for it - and if you like it that's all that matters
