Blackbird
Blackbird on bird table - instantly I know what's wrong, but that's my fault for setting up my bird table where I did - in front of branches (and making it out of a skanky old shelf 
) - the 'props' in this pic are just ugly and distract the eye from the bird (same with the other bird pics I'll post in a minute) - however, I think in general I'm improving? 
and - for fun - here he was on the floor underneath pulling a silly face!

I think you are being a bit hard on yourself Laura about the bird table / branches etc I never really noticed them, I just noticed how well you had captured the blackbird, every time you post new bird pics there is an improvement
Also I realy like the last one, very cute

thank you ever so much MS perhaps i am being a bit hard on myself, but that's how I improve Ultimately I want nice clear shots of birds in very natural environments. I have to be brutal and say my bird table isn't the prettiest! hehe - though I do love it!
