Timoleague Abbey

I know there are too many pics to effectively C&C - however, if anyone has any advice on the set as a whole, or any individual images - it would be gratefully received

Re: Timoleague Abbey

Really like the first very eerie, fab lighting.

My favourite is no4, great composition, the lighting is really nice, like the light of the tower and the shadows below. The only one I am not keen on is number three, it looks slightly wonky, but I am not sure if it is or it is the shadow.

Looks a fabulous place by the way, I love old churches and graveyards. Bet, it has some stunning headstones.

Re: Timoleague Abbey

Zoundz - you could improve on these hugely by using an exposure bracketing technique and then merging the bracketed images to give you defined ranges, highlights, midtones and shadows.

Re: Timoleague Abbey

thanks Azz!

Yes MS - it's amazing! and I think that pic that looks wonky... I think it's the abbey that's wonkey

JR - thanks for the tip - I was actually trying, but daft moo that I am didn't take the manual with me, and couldn't work out how to get it to do the bracketing thing. I wanted to experiment with doing HDR - whether it would work with suh dark pics I don't know - but I couldn't get it to do the bracketing thing! lol

Re: Timoleague Abbey

Love the top one, some of the others aren't as crisp and I think that detracts from the composition (which is good)
