Re: Sunshine girl

Very nice shots MS

Love the composition and overall feel to these two pictures.

It may just be my monitor, but to me, her eyes look just a wee bit too vivid compared with the tone of rest of the shot, particularly in the second image.

If they've been enhanced / brightened / sharpened I'd reduce it just a tiny but, but that aside, I think these are really great

Re: Sunshine girl

The first one I would like more of the top of her head........but otherwise a lovely shot.

The second one ...love it.

[only my opinion which dont count for much]

Re: Sunshine girl

Really lovely photos, I especially like the soft texture and tone of the first, on the second I like the perspective and I love the 'pastel' colours and the excellent skin tones, I would probably crop the right hand side of the photo a little more closely thereby increasing the % of negative space on the left.

Lovely shots, and agree about the eyes being a little too sharp compared to the rest of the photo in the second one.

I agree, I applied my ready for web action in CS, and it resizes, sharpens etc, and then tweak anything that needs doing for web viewing, and full size it looks fine, but the eyes are a bit strong especially on the second resized. Thanks for the feedback.

(The mutli quote thingy won't work , so sorry for all the replies)

Ha! tell me about it! She is growing up fast,at a very scary rateproper teenager now I love it though, she is very independent, but still needs her Mum every now and then

It's okay fullsize, it's when I resized it for the web, will tone it down a bit

Thanks for the feedback everyone xxx

Re: Sunshine girl

I actually like where she is in the 2nd one. She is bang on the thirds line which feels balanced to me. I wonder how it would be if it were to loose a little of the top though. It feels like a little too much space up there - to me.
