Lovely tones and crispness. the simple shots can always look so good. I'm not sure i like the diagonal in the bottom right, possibly would have been better (for me) just the slates going off to OoF to the right so a slightly different viewpoint. As it is, nice mono picture.

I did play with flipping it so it ran right to left and for interest here is that version,I included the other slat as a break to stop the eye leaving the pic as you start near the edge in the sharp bit and with the break made my eye go into the pic rather than out.
I took versions with it and without and to my eye with worked better:
