Re: Robert the Bruce HDRs

What effect are you trying for here? Are you trying for a natural look or something more arty?
I ask because number 1 to me looks too overdone to be natural but not 'different' enough to be 'arty'

Number 2 and 3 are more natural but both look a little under exposed and could do with a tweak in a levels adjustment layer to lighten and brighten.
Number 2 has some signs of editing around the statue that could do with tidying up.

Re: Robert the Bruce HDRs

As LM said, these don't seem to be one thing or the other. #1 is, IMV, ott on the colour and #2&3 both show signs of manipulation around the sculpture. I'm far from anything like proficient in PP but I can't see where these are going. On the other hand, if they are what you were looking for then thats OK.

Re: Robert the Bruce HDRs

Composition wise 2 and 3 are great, but the HDR does seem overdone, but that is personal taste TBH, and you can see some manipulation around the statue. Please don't be put off by my comments though, as I like seeing people experiment with their images

What are you using to post process the HDR? I've only dabbled a few times, and TBH mine looked fairly poo LOL. So, please keep posting your HDR stuff xxx

I am not put off at all. All the feed back is good. I use photomatix and CS4.

I like the arty look the over saturation and full on surreal look, but thats me.

Thanks to you all for the feed back
