No 3 is a Goldfinch, last year I had approx 60 in the garden at the same time. They love Niger seeds and Sunflower hearts. Never had one in the garden until I started feeding the afore mentioned. Be careful where you situate any Niger seed feeders, the stuff grows like crazy, its like walking on a thick bed of sphagnum moss.

Yes richardf, Goldfinches like being in large flocks, sometimes these flocks can be 100+, although we do have some visit here it is usually in the breeding season, so they are in pairs.
