Breaking Dawn

And yet another attack of insomnia
Why do i keep doing this?

Just another run of the mill sunrise! But it was the bird in flight that makes it interesting.

Re: Breaking Dawn

Nice colours in this, did you mean to catch the bird or was it a happy extra?

Re: Breaking Dawn

I think it's a great sunrise, but the bird in flight for me actually spoils the image. It's shape sort of isn't big enough or obvious enough, and you sort of have to look and say 'what's that...oh, it's a bird in flight I think'... Only my opinion, great sunrise, would sooner see 2 or 3 birds taking off or something...

Re: Breaking Dawn

I agree with BC I'm afraid... but I do think it's a good image, and it'd be lovely without the bird, or with more birds and more definition to the birds than this one has.

Re: Breaking Dawn

Nice one - esp the colours

Re the bird, have you considered cropping it so it's more a focal point of the image? Go for a nice portrait crop.

Re: Breaking Dawn

Thanks for the comments guys.

Being up so early saw me snapping away like a madman to make the most of the moment, and i do have images without the TINY bird
The field where i lay had Rabbits hopping about all over the place, and i was praying one would hop into the frame! Maybe take a bag of Carrots next time to tempt them

Thanks for the suggestion Azz....I will have a look at that.

All those layers of colours would look interesting in a portrait crop.
