Textured Portraits

Some of my staff asked me to take portraits (last time they do that) – I thought I’d try something a little different. Not sure if these really work? (Or if this is the correct place to post these – sorry if not!)

Re: Textured Portraits

I find them strangely haunting, but like them in a strange sort of way, especially the first one!

Re: Textured Portraits

I agree - something a bit... erm... 'candyman' about them - they are lovely I think - but not sure if they are flattering! I do however very much like them!

Re: Textured Portraits

Love them.

The textures you've used seem very in keeping with the portraits too - I guess that's the point.

For what it's worth - I like the first one the best.

I'd quite like a lesson in textures if you have the time ????

Re: Textured Portraits

Really interesting.
Though I wonder if that crack in the first photo is just a bit too dominating.

Re: Textured Portraits

I have to be honest I'd prefer them if they were normal portraits with the interesting textures for backgrounds, just my opinion.
