A candid from Bantry

This took a lot of courage to take, I'm horribly shy and very embarrassed about taking photos of strangers, so this was a major 'to-do' for me. I think it came out OK. There's much I would change, but I think for a first attempt it could be worse.

I like it very much, very gritty and life like.

Personally I would either clone the light strip at the bottom, crop it or darken that area as I find it competes with that lived in face.

A good candid shot, and the B&W works, you have eye contact, would love to know his thoughts though.

Not a bad 1st attempt Laura. I know what you mean about being embarrassed doing this type of photography but like with everything new you try, confidence will grow the more you do it.
