Seeing Scotland, 9pm ITV Tonight (Landscape Photography)
Thought this programme might be worthy of mention.....
Seeing Scotland, 9pm
Photographer, Charlie Waite, travels through and around Scotland, using various locations as the canvas on which he explores the different elements involved in photography. As he travels, Charlie finds himself amidst some of the Scotland’s most beautiful and extraordinary scenery. His camera focuses on castles by an evening light, lochs blanketed in morning fog and remote homes nestled between rolling hills. Along the way, Charlie will also meet some of the characters who inhabit these locations, sharing their lifes and passion for the landscapes they live in. Seeing Scotland will introduce to the technique behind successful photography – the art of “making” an image, not just “taking” one.

there was a 6 episode programme of the same name with the same photographer a couple of years ago, not sure if it's a re-hash, but should be worth a watch anyway.

Oh well.
It was a 'nice' programme in terms of showing nice places but there wasn't much in the way of photography tips unless you were a complete beginner.
Lots of talk about composition, tripods, depth of field but in all honesty it was just a nice programme.

Ah well! Maybe I'll get the chance to see it at some point. I love Scotland, so was hoping to try and catch it in order to see about places to go - but I'm sure if we were to visit, plenty of people here would be able to guide us!
