Just bumping this thread up, but I'm about to be in the same situation and am feeling a bit daunted!

The Llandeilo group are holding a similar exhibition in the Ammanford library, with us all exhibiting about 10 prints each with a view to people getting our details in order to purchase prints.

Like Laura, mine are mostly of birds, it's not until August though so hopefully I'll have some time to get a better variety of stuff...at least the other members are all landscapey or macro peeps, so between us it should be a pretty interesting exhibition

I just hope I've got stuff that's good enough to go up with the rest of them!

Lol - that's the thing about having an exhibition on my own! I've only got myself to fall back on

I'll have my portfolio book available in the library as well for people to browse - then after that, I'll be hopefully putting some work in Koalaful Creations in Clon, to get some sales there too

That's a good idea, having the book as well, might have to give that a try. I'll get some cards with my zenfolio website details on it as well for people to pick up.

If they're well received I might have a word with my buddies down the farm shop, as they sell prints and cards sometimes, and their general custom is usually wildlife loving types and holiday making hippies, I'm probably best just sticking with what I'm good at.

I doubt there's likely to ever be any serious money coming out of it though, as sadly Andy Rouse already has the job It's good fun though!

This photo group is crazy, beginners who aren't beginners, those who daren't critique one minute and then are critiquing like good 'uns, and people saying they can't get out and nothing to photograph and then having an exhibition (Mrs Zounds!!! ! You lot are nuts! Can I join you?!

Zoundz congratulations, I have no idea what I would choose if I had to, perhaps if you specialise in just one or too class of subject it may be easier, you could try grouping. For example if you have say 3 chaffinch you could place them into one image or in a line horizontal or vertical, if you did this with shots of a similar type you could squeeze in more of your images to give the public more idea of what you do.

I personally really love a lot of your macro and plant stuff...I think out of everything you do that's the area that stands out, for me anyway!
