Dust on sensor? any thoughts?

Well - to my annoyance there appears to be dust on the sensor :/ which shows as annoying little round blemishes on all pale parts of photos... eg:



I mean - yes they're easily cloned out - but it's really infuriating!

So... any thoughts on how to clean the sensor... I know it's not something I should do myself - and I don't have one of those blow kits (mind, I've read that they can break the sensor ) - so should I take it to a camera shop to sort out? or will they just use one of those anyway?
