Not me chuck Takes a lot to offend me ...I was just pointing out that there are different ways to look at things

THIS is what I saw in my head as we drove past this church ...

But this was the actual photo I took ....

I hope that explains my view a bit better? There is nothing wrong with the second pic at all ....but it ISN'T what I saw in my head ...does that make any sense to anyone? (oh and yes...a Mally hair got onto the lens LOL)

Re: When does Photography become Art

Thanks Melody, I do prefer the first pic, the effect is stunning, maybe I'm just confused because I can't see what could be, rather than what is just in front of me, I can understand that you could make the original into that, it just amazes me that you have the forsight to be able to see more than what is just there, hope that make some sort of sense.
I do hope you stopped the car before taking the pic though

Re: When does Photography become Art

LMAO ..yes we did though we had to travel about 3 miles up the narrow country road before we found somewhere to turn around Hubby was not best pleased

As to the first thing ..I don't know what makes one person see one thing and another see something else ...I wish I did. Hubby often *sees* differently to me with the same subject ..

Re: When does Photography become Art

Some photography is just snapping pictures, but some photography is about getting things to look 'right' - that's when it becomes an art imo

I also look at the camera and kit the same way as I see a paintbrush - they are just our tools, and we use them to get what we want from them (sometimes with other tools, such as software).
