Cropping Help

After Azz put a thread up about 100% crops, 'I thought I can do that' wrong how do I crop, I've been in Picasa, Gimp and the file thing that came with the download disc for my camera, I can zoom in but can't find out how to crop, help, please

There is a crop option in Picasa I just used it to crop my pic Once I have picked the crop option I hold down the left mouse button and drag over the area I want cropped, then click apply. Hopefully someone will be able to explain it better

The crop icon usually looks like this:




Just click on it and drag what bit you want to crop as Ca mentioned above
