I love them just before they get to that stage when they go all silver and shimmer in the light. I think maybe mine has had enough this winter though

sounds like something I would do Wish I'd taken my camera out today, came across a really big old tree, damaged in the high winds, the branches had broken off, they were wider than some tree trunks and fell in a sort of circle , nobody around either (which was just well cos I had to climb over it and get a green @rse...) If it's a good day on monday and I get time, I'll go back.
