Poor Marcus

My grandson Marcus (4) broke his arm the other day. It was a horrible time seeing someone so small that you love in pain. It's been a lot of driving and a lot of waiting and worrying.
He tripped up on 2 little steps. The break is in the elbow. He had to get knocked out while they manipulated his arm. If it's setting right in a week they will leave it as it is. If not then it will get re-broken and wires put in... Fingers crossed.

The little chap normally has a smile on his face but as you can imagine he was scared and not much to smile about.

So out came my silliness in the hospital just to get that smile back...





He spent 2 days in there. We took him home with his mum last night. Today he was happy to be home....

oh poor little chap, hope his arm mends quickly, good job you was there to cheer him up

Poor thing hope he gets well soon - kids heal a lot quicker than us oldies so try not worrying about him.

You're a star Dave....and what a lovely lad he looks.

Am sure he will be good, he's still at the bendy stage.

When we was in the childrens A&E I popped into the shop to get him a teddy, something to read etc. They also sold whoopee cushions..... All the kids (and nurses) in there were laughing their heads off

Aww poor lil Fella. He will make a full and speedy recovery Dave, children are very resilient at that age. Marcus will be loving all the attention that he is getting at the moment, wont be long before he is having his cast signed and then back to his old self . You cant help but worry though. Even when somebody says not too, easier said than done, its human nature.

Cheers. He starts his big school 2 weeks. It's a shame he wont be able to do the normal stuff but I think I've got it through to him it's only for a short while.

Bless the little chap Dave, I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
