I think Jack might be referring to the Nikon, not sure, as the Canon 10-20 is an EF-S lens, and EF-S lenses on Canon don't go on to EF fit bodies (unless this is something new I am not aware of)

Anyway Sam, if you wan't some natural Vignetting, you can turn of the filter on the 5D that is removing the Vignetting for you.

Re: Cut Down

I thought that i couldn't use the 10-20mm on the 5D as it is FF. I have the sigma version here. I am happy to continue using it on the 400D, if i use 100ISO and a tripod i should be fine As i will be in Aviemore i really don't want to be changing lenses when it is snowy/rainy or cold. I will be using my 70-200 f2.8 L Usm IS on the 5D mkII, the Sigma 10-20mm on one 400D body and the 24-70mm on my other 400D body. I shouldn't need any other lenses but still taking all of them with me LOL LOL.

Thats my thought too, the (Canon Fit) Sigma 10-20 is an EF-S lens designed to be used with APS-C sensors. It physically won't go on a 5D as the mount is different.

I have the 17-40 L and it's superb, on a FF sensor it is really wide, a superb lens to use, and being L series it has superb build quality and optics as well as being dust and weatherproof (I tend not to push the 'weatherproof' aspect lol)
