You wanna do it like this...

Well I like 'people' shots, faces, people in conversation, street or wherever, so saw these chaps today...discussing how to repair a traction engine.

Comment as you wish, any comment is better than no comment...sure I can take it on the chin...

Re: You wanna do it like this...

I do like it, but part of me wants to move the man in the cap on the left more to the left out of the way. But, then it wouldn't be candid,

Nice tones too.

Re: You wanna do it like this...

I like it. The processing really suits the subject matter.
I really want to see a little of the other peoples faces - someting about the back of that cap is bothering me. But then maybe that is what makes it a great picture becuase its got me wondering and wanting to see more!

Re: You wanna do it like this...

I like it too, and agree it would be slightly better without that guy - but still think it works well, esp with the pp you've done.

Re: You wanna do it like this...

There are clues that it's not a really old photo. The back of the baseball hat has an adjustment band and the guuy's writwatch has a modern band. Still, the sepia toning fits the mood of the scene. Nice job.

Re: You wanna do it like this...

Thaniks for the comments, it was just a treatment on a modern picture, not really any intention to make it authentic looking olde worlde. Never really thought about that!

Re: You wanna do it like this...

I like the photo, the composition works well for me, it is what it is. The toning also suits the subject.

Re: You wanna do it like this...

Granted it was tough dealing with the glare off the driver's head but here's my editing corrections. The original seemed underexposed and flat. I dis a minor levels adjustment that increased the overall contrast, added a golden hour color filter and weathered edge treatment.
