Humming Birds

Today we FINALLY got some break in the heat we've been having! So I decided to head out around 7 this morning with my camera! I'm blessed to live on a farm so I don't have to go far! lol. I took a few photos of some humming birds that are regulars! They are probably the least shy birds ever! lol. A few shots are pretty noisy, I know that! Actually I probably could have sat right under the feeder and they would have still come and enjoyed breakfest! Several times they buzzed right by head! Next time I will for sure move up closer so I don't have to use zoom so much!

Re: Humming Birds

How I would love those in my garden. Get a few shots as close as you can. I'd love to see them too.

Re: Humming Birds

Oh I LOVE to watch these little guys (and they are males cause they fight each other) but they are not scared of humans at all! It's as if we're not even there to them! So tomorrow I'm hoping to get closer! They are so beautiful!

Re: Humming Birds

Sounds lovely katie. 95% of the birds in my garden are wood pigeons/doves and sparrows.
