Re: Interested in Maternity Photography

make a small poster and put it up in the doctors could be the start of something for you.

poster could say you will do one free 10 x 8 for a shoot and then a discount on the newborn pic.

you can take the poster down when you have enough to practise on

OMG I couldn't charge people yet! I wouldn't mind finding a pregnant lady who will let me practise though. Not confident in my photography to advertise in the doctors.

I loved being Pregnant, the last few week sucked though, I even enjoyed giving birth and I used to love it when my tummy would do weird shapes

Re: Interested in Maternity Photography

Have seen some very nice lumps with beautiful skin tones but don't like the recent fashion of walking around with it hanging out between the top of the jeans and the bottom of the top, navel extended and often pierced.

Have to be honest, on a small percentage of girls I think it looks quite sexy...but of course for each one of those there are loads that just shouldn't be doing it! Chavs...straight off the Jeremy Kyle show!

Anyway, we need some equality around here...I'm going to start photographing some of the guys beer bellies! they look exactly the same just a bit more hairy! ...uurgh!

Beer bellies are not the same as baby bumps

Re: Interested in Maternity Photography

ok moon maybe offer your servives free to the first one who rings you and gets past the interview ha h.

of course if you are going to photograph them for 6 months or more you will have to get on with them.

Re: Interested in Maternity Photography

Yep it will definitely be for free need loads of people practise

I haven't explained very well, you don't do the shots for six months, you have one shoot heavily pregnant, and then one as a newborn. Does that make sense.

Also a lot of women go for having a fine gauzy fabric across their bump all back lit , and just revealing the outline. Not Jeremy Kylesque Chavtastic stuff
