Re: Hannah's friend Rudolph (Red Squirrel) on a nut raid

Envy Envy Envy!!! The last time I saw a red squirrel, apart from being in a zoo, was over 50 years ago when I lived down south. All we get here now is those greys which devestated out native reds.

Re: Hannah's friend Rudolph (Red Squirrel) on a nut raid

Cheers Bazza

We're lucky to still have a lot of reds around by us. Hopefully the ongoing work replanting the native trees (caledonian forest) will help them.

By us we have a lot of squirrel crossings - ropes tied to trees way up high either side of the road so they can cross safely.
